DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesday\, June 6th for a Happy Hour with Kickstarter! Laura Feinstein is Kickstarter’s Design and Tech Editor and North American Outreach Lead\, working to mentor\, inspire\, and help promote the ideas and projects of both emerging and established creators. She will review past projects she’s seen from successful hardware and electrical engineers and provide a mini-workshop where she’ll review best practices. During her session\, she’ll leave ample time for Q&A. Following Laura’s presentation\, Scott Keeley will share critical info to legally protect your next project and answer the question\, “Is it Patentable?”. Scott is a patent agent with 15 years of experience drafting patents and is an inventor on 14 granted patents\, and has been helping independent inventors and startup companies since 2001. There will be plenty of time for networking\, light bites\, and drinks.
