The Power of the Haudenosaunee “Words Before All Else” Workshop with Mural Arts

Part of the Climate Justice Initiative, a collaboration between front-line organizers, activists, and artists, convened by Mural Arts Philadelphia. Using the power of public art to tell stories about the causes, effects, and solutions to the climate crisis in Lenapehoking, workshop participants will learn the history, present, and future of the Haudenosaunee Thanksgiving Address, and how it informs Indigenous worldviews and movements.
