This month, join us for:

• June Repair Fair: Give your broken items a second life at the Fixers Guild’s Repair Fair! Get hands-on help fixing jewelry, furniture, appliances, and more. (Check their guidelines before you go!).
• “Surviving in Silence Out Loud” – A Powerful Art Exhibition by Artist Monique Casey Disu: Join us for “Surviving in Silence Out Loud,” a deeply personal and transformative multimedia art exhibition by Philadelphia-based artist M. Casey. This powerful show, told through color, texture, and truth, explores the aftermath of sexual assault and the journey from silence to healing and self-expression.

These events are hosted as part of Second Thursdays, a neighborhood-wide event, originally created by the Crane Arts Building, as a chance to explore open studios, artist showcases, and unique businesses. Be sure to check out all of the businesses at the 1800 N. American St. building: The Resource Exchange, Sor Ynez, Keystone Bicycle Co, Beaty American Salvage (City Ore), Center for Creative Works, Virida, and Farm N’ Sea Pets.
